Pica Typeface (10 cpi)

Considered by many to be the pinnacle of SCM portables, the 5 series is a snappy, handsome machine that much beloved by writers. Mechanically, it types like very well- Smooth, snappy, and satisfying.

The Silent Super was the culmination of all of the 4 and 5 series Smith Corona portables. It is very similar to the Silent model, but adds tabulation set/clear to the keyboard versus the manual stops on the Silent.

Cosmetically, the brown taupe paint is good shape. Some signs of use, but nothing that detracts from the overall aesthetic. The pica typeface produces a very nice imprint, and at 10 characters per inch, it’s easy to read.
