The Wedgefield 100 is an rebranded Brother JP portable sold by Kmart in their stores. Brother Typewriters took over much of the market due to their quality and price point, and by the 70s, a HUGE amount of companies were paying Brother to sell these little machines under their own brands. This machine is in IMMACULATE shape- snappy mechanics, good imprint, and the handsome pale yellow paint make this quite a fun little Typewriter.
Brother Typewriters are known for their consistency, performance, and affordability- this little Wedgefield is a perfect starter machine or ultra portable travel companion!
The half pica typeface is classy, concise, makes a nice imprint, but is still easy to read at 12 characters per inch. It has a plastic clamshell case lid that comes with it, making this a great little travel Typewriter!
